Questions that you might have about our tutoring sessions:

1. Is it in-person or online? Our classes are mainly online, but they can be one and one in-person as well.

2. How much does each session cost hourly? $22/hour in all levels, although the first session is $18.

3. Our teaching methods: We teach in three levels( Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced).

Beginner: It’s for people who don’t know anything about chess and even if they do, they still don’t know some main tactics properly; online rating level: 0-1000. This level will teach you everything you need to know about basic chess, expanding your chess knowledge and preparing you for the next level.

Intermediate: It’s for people who know the basics of chess but want to expand their repertoire. In this level, we will cover the complex tactics and theories that are behind every opening in chess, review the different styles of play in the end game, and cover the mistakes that are stopping the student from making it to the pro level; online rating level for intermediates: 1000-1600.

Advanced: this level has been made for people who want to become part of the pros and be at the top level. In this course, we will prepare you for the upcoming tournaments and give you techniques and essential tips to consider which many don’t consider.

What times are we available to teach? Due to the opening of schools, BCA decided that they would teach after school( after 4:00), and during weekends at any time. Any more questions please reach out: bishopchess.ca
